S4600 Server
The chipset choice for S4600 is the Intel® Q35 Express Chipset. Processor options include a Core 2 Duo or Pentium Dual Core CPU. Other features provided by the Q35 chipset include an integrated Trusted Platform Module, support for vPro technology, and Intel® Active Management Technology. The Radiant S4600 also supports DDR2 800 MHz SDRAM and can be configured for support of up to 4 GB of system memory. Port interfaces on the S4600 include 6 rear and 2 front access USB 2.0 ports, VGA and DVI interfaces, and a 10/100/1000 network connection. Standard on the S4600 is a 160 GB 7200 RPM hard drive with 8 MB of cache. The S4600 is a highly configurable and flexible platform, leveraging the on-board RAID controller to support RAID 0 or 1 arrays. The 300W auto-switching power supply supports input from US and International AC power. The power supply fan offers speed control, only spinning to full rpm’s as necessary when the temperature rises. This solution results in better noise levels and provides higher reliability for the S4600. Besides the standard plastic bezel, the S4600 has an optional locking metal bezel, which is great for customers who want to prevent tampering with their system once it is installed in a retail site. In addition, an optional bracket is available for wall mounting or under the counter mounting, ideal for use in areas that are limited in space. This platform has a compact enclosure with dimensions 5.5 in H x 16.1 in D x 13 in W. The S4600 is designed to be extremely versatile. It can be configured as a thin client, web kiosk, multimedia information station, site controller, point-of-sale workstation, firewall and more.
