Ovations Food Services Selects Radiant Systems as Preferred Point of Sale and Back Office Provider

Quest VenueManager will enable better management of inventory in sports and entertainment venues across the country

ATLANTA (July 24, 2008) – Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) announced today that Ovations Food Services, the full-service food and beverage concessions and catering company that manages more than 90 venues, has selected the company’s Quest point of sale (POS) and VenueManager back office as its preferred solution for existing and future venues.

“After an extensive search for a technology partner, we chose Radiant because of the company’s satisfied customers and superior venue-management capabilities,” said Todd Wickner, principal and chief operating officer at Ovations Food Services. “We were impressed by the exceptional reliability of Quest VenueManager, and we are confident the solution will allow us to provide quick, efficient food and beverage service to our event venue customers nationwide.”

The Quest POS and VenueManager technology will enable faster customer service for concession stands, in-seat ordering, suite catering and retail merchandise operations. Ovations manages many well-known venues including Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Rose Garden, home of the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers.

Radiant already has installed the first POS and back office solution for Ovations at the recently-opened Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park in Alpharetta, Ga. The company will install the solution in four more venues in the third quarter. Additionally, Radiant will continue to provide Ovations with Quest POS technology for new sites and will refresh the current technology at existing sites as needed.

“We are thrilled to partner with one of the fastest-growing and most innovative food service companies in the industry,” said Scott Kingsfield, president of the sports and entertainment division at Radiant Systems.  “Ovations is known for consistently increasing per capita sales at the venues where it provides food and beverage service, and Radiant Systems is committed to helping the company continue its outstanding momentum.”
