Radiant Systems Expands Global Market Reach with Addition of One Step Retail Solutions, Three Other Resellers to Retail Distribution Channel
Canadian Retail Solutions, Cognitive IT Solutions and RVP Business Systems also added as distributers of the Radiant retail solution.
ATLANTA (August 4, 2008) — Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) announced today that the retail distribution channel continues to expand with the recent addition of four new resellers who will sell and implement the Radiant retail solution including CounterPoint software and Radiant hardware.
One Step Retail Solutions (OSRS), one of the largest retail-service providers in the United States, executed its Radiant partner agreement in June and has completed sales and technical training. Now fully certified, OSRS is actively engaged with the Radiant retail team on proposals to deliver Radiant-powered solutions to the retail marketplace in the United States and other markets.
“The strength, quality and versatility of the CounterPoint software, coupled with the Radiant team’s knowledge of industry operations and demands, led us to partnering with Radiant, “said Scott Kreisberg, CEO of One Step Retail Solutions. “Radiant is one of the fastest-growing retail technology providers, and we wanted to add the company’s solutions to our product line. We expect to be very successful across all specialty retail markets with their solutions, especially since this allows us to penetrate additional categories of retail verticals.”
The Radiant retail division further strengthened its global distribution channel in the second quarter of this year by signing three additional dealers: Canadian Retail Solutions, located in Edmonton; Cognitive IT Solutions located in the Philippines and Guam; and RVP Business Systems, located in Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City, Utah. The new partners began selling the CounterPoint software and Radiant hardware product lines to their retail customers in July.
“As we continue to aggressively expand into new markets with the Radiant retail solution, it is important to partner with the industry’s largest and most successful retail technology resellers to ensure that retailers have increased accessibility to our products and customer support,” said Chris Lybeer, president of the retail division at Radiant Systems.“ The addition of these four high-quality partners in such a short period of time exemplifies the strength of our product line and validates our strategic approach as a leader in this market.”
Only Radiant Systems offers specialty retailers a complete solution with EdmontonCounterPoint software, hardware built specifically for the retail environment, integrated ecommerce, and local partners dedicated to providing excellent on-going support. CounterPoint real-time software is easy to implement and delivers a complete retail management solution that includes robust inventory management, touchscreen point of sale (POS) ticket entry, built-in customer relationship management (CRM), automated purchasing and reporting.
