Radiant Systems Teams Up with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

More than 2,000 participants are expected to raise awareness for the 8th annual walk/run event

DALLAS (September 24, 2008) – Radiant Charity Corporation, the nonprofit organization supported by Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS), announced today that Radiant’s Dallas office will sponsor the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s (NOCC) 8th annual “NOCC & PureOlogy’s Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer”. More than 2,000 walkers and runners are expected to participate in the race on September 27 in Grapevine, TX, a suburb in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

“We are thrilled about our partnership with Radiant Systems,” said Sharon Goldammer, chapter co-president at NOCC. “With 1,600 attendees last year, we look forward to another year of continued growth with Radiant as our race management sponsor.”

The event includes a 1-mile walk and a 5K walk/run, which raise money and promote awareness about ovarian cancer.  Radiant’s sponsorship consists of hands-on volunteering in pre-event planning, event-day logistics management and on-site participation in the race itself.

“The NOCC race is an ideal way for Radiant to give back to the community we live in,” said Paul Langenbahn, president of the hospitality division at Radiant Systems. “We are delighted about this year’s partnership with the NOCC and, most importantly, raising money and building awareness about ovarian cancer.”

Radiant Systems’ also sponsors an annual Sprint for Cancer that has grown to be a top-10 race in Atlanta, the company’s headquarters city.  The sixth annual race, held at in the Atlantic Station neighborhood of Atlanta earlier this year, raised more than $134,000 for the Georgia Cancer Foundation.
